What is the $NINJA Token?
$NINJA is the native token of the Ninja Swap platform and the vehicle for private transfers. It is a fungible SPL token minted on Solana with the confidential transfer extension enabled from inception. The design and utility of $NINJA center around one core idea: being a privacy-first token for discrete transfers, without sacrificing the speed and composability of Solana's ecosystem.

Seamless Swap from $SOL
Users can acquire $NINJA easily by swapping from Solana's native token, $SOL. This can be done on any decentralized exchange (DEX) that lists $NINJA. The swap process is standard and transparent – at this stage, $NINJA behaves like any regular SPL token, ensuring it integrates smoothly with wallets and DEX interfaces.
Confidential by Choice

Technical Implementation
$NINJA is built on Solana's Token-2022 standard (SPL-22), which introduces Confidential Transfers as a token extension. At a high level, Confidential Transfers use cryptography to hide the amount of a token transfer on-chain, providing privacy through encryption.
When $NINJA tokens are sent using this feature, observers can see that a transfer occurred between two wallet addresses, but the amount transacted is concealed. Only the sender and receiver (and any authorized auditor, if configured) can determine the actual amount.
The token's program uses techniques like homomorphic encryption and zero-knowledge proofs to prove that a transfer is valid without revealing the quantity. Each $NINJA token account can be configured as a confidential account with its own encryption key.
